We have been so busy in Robins making the most to the start of the year with our new full timers.  All the children have been involved in lots of great activities and have worked really hard.

We all took part in celebrating Chinese New Year at school.  We had a special Chinese lunch, took part in lots of different activities making our own Dragons, Good Luck envelopes and our own buffet.

Late Foundation Stage

Spring 1

This half term our topic has centred on ‘Weather and Seasons’. We have also done lots of work related to our special story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’.  We have done role-play, acted out the story in talk for writing and have made our own books.

We investigated changes looking at ‘ice’ and ‘jelly’ which were really interesting. We were all scientists experimenting and observing.  It was great to explore using all our senses!
