We met lots of interesting characters...

We have read a great book in literacy.

wrote our own poems using alliteration...

...and we designed our own jungle scenes in D.T.

We’ve been working hard with money and

making different amounts with coins.

We have been learning all about life at home in the 1900s.

Did you know that there was no electricity. 

That means no lights, no washing machines and no computers.

People had to do nearly everything by hand, including their washing and they even had to bake their own bread.

We have been investigating materials and their properties this half term.

 We especially enjoyed finding out what objects in our classroom were magnetic and recording our results in a table.

We also made our own magnets for our fridge.
