  from Hedgehogs

       We had another boy join our class and we all did our best to make him feel very welcome.

We must have managed it because he smiles a lot!

   This half term has gone really fast for us. We have had lots of fun finding out about Electricity, music and Famous artists as well as doing Numeracy and Literacy.

In Literacy we worked on traditional stories that aim to explain what happened to some animals to make them look the way they do. We all realise that these are imagined tales. We wrote our own versions of the stories. Can you suggest how the hedgehog got his prickles?

We found out about Chinese New Year too. 2010 is the year of the tiger.

We found out that children in our class were all born in either the Year of the Horse or the Year of the Sheep.
