Happy Summer from everybody in

  Hedgehogs class

While we have been in Year 2 we have done lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed using all our Design technology skills to make things. When we made space bugs we planned them in ICT first. Here you can see us making vehicles. Some of us put a chassis on too.

In Science we planted some seeds. Here is a photograph of our broad beans. They look very strong and healthy don’t they?

We had some caterpillars to care for too. We watched them grow fat before they turned into Chrysalis. When the butterflies emerged we released them in our forest garden. It was fascinating.

One of our end of term activities was a sports day with other schools in our area. We wore World cup themed clothes and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We have had a great year and are now looking forward to a new future at our new Junior schools.
